Yunnan High Mountain Black Tea 雲南髙山滇紅
Description:
Dianhong Tea, produced in Yunnan Province, China, derives its name from "Dian," the province’s abbreviation. As a gem among Chinese black teas, Dianhong is renowned for its rich honey aroma, sweet and mellow taste, and stunning golden-tipped appearance. First successfully crafted in Fengqing, Yunnan, in 1939, this exquisite tea quickly gained international recognition, becoming a beloved export to Europe.
The Unique Charm of Dianhong Tea

Exquisite Appearance: The leaves are tightly twisted, with golden tips and a glossy, dark finish. High-end varieties such as "Golden Needle" and "Golden Snail" are fully covered in golden hairs, exuding an air of luxury.
-
Rich Aroma: Boasts an enchanting honey fragrance with floral and fruity undertones. Some premium varieties also carry hints of caramel or ripe fruit, making every sip a delightful experience.
-
Sweet and Mellow Taste: The tea is smooth, full-bodied, and naturally sweet, with a long-lasting aftertaste and layered complexity.
-
Vibrant Liquor: The infusion displays a bright red or amber hue, offering both visual and sensory pleasure with exceptional steeping endurance.
Classic Varieties of Dianhong Tea

How to Brew Dianhong Tea
-
Water Temperature: Use 90-95°C (194-203°F) hot water to unlock the best flavors.
-
Tea-to-Water Ratio: 5g of tea per 150ml of water, adjustable according to personal taste.
