Description:
Xigui tea is renowned as one of the four famous teas in Lincang. Since the 1970s, it has been served as a gift tea to VIPs by the local government, making it highly sought after.
Xigui tea is produced in Manglu Mountain, Xigui Village, Bangdong Township, Linxiang District, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. Manglu Mountain is an extension of the Great Snow Mountain range in Lincang, extending eastward near the Lancang River. It is backed by Xigui Mountain and extends eastward to the Lancang River, with the Guixi Ferry at the foot of the mountain.
Xigui tea leaves are dark green and twisted, resembling willow leaves, with few hairs on the back of the leaves and short and thin stems. The tea soup has a bright golden-yellow color, with a sharp and rich floral aroma that is highly recognizable, which is a major characteristic of Xigui tea. The taste is full-bodied, almost without bitterness, with a lingering sweetness that appears seconds after tasting, leaving a lingering fragrance on the lips and teeth. Additionally, you can feel a distinct sugary sweetness, making it a highly recommended premium Pu'er tea by the shop owner!
